Welcome to another enlightenment solution you will bring for your whole life since today! The one you will amaze girls (guys?) with, and earn money with :).
Actually it is easy to transfer iPod/iTunes music to PSP.
I. Getting Songs Directly from iPod to PSP
Let's now learn the tricky, easy and funny way of getting music from iPod to PSP directly, without iTunes or any disk space available on your PC.
Let's Go!
1. Connect your iPod with USB cable to your PC.
Once you see the iPod as a new Removable Drive, open it (suppose it's disk F:).
Now navigate to: F:\iPod_Control\Music\
where you will see folders like F00, F01, F02 etc.
These folders actually contain music. Without titles, but still.
2. Now you can copy all that to some folder on your PC.
If you have 2 USB slots, you may skip this step, and move to the 3-rd one - so that you will directly copy to your PSP, without your PC interference
3. Now connect the PSP (you may disconnect iPod at this step if you completed step 2).
Navigate to "F:\PSP\Music".
Once there, copy all of your MP3 files from that some folder on your PC, to "F:\PSP\Music".
You may copy them just as you were on iPod - complete folders "F00", "F01", etc.
Sub-folders that will be shown as groups on your PSP, but no more than 1-level.
For example, this will work on your PSP:
F:\PSP\Music\F00
F:\PSP\Music\F01
F:\PSP\Music\Rap
F:\PSP\Music\Rock
While this will not:
F:\PSP\Music\F00\Rap
F:\PSP\Music\F00\Rock
F:\PSP\Music\BritneySpears\BabyOneMoreTime
F:\PSP\Music\Music_Part1\sub_part123
II. Getting Songs from iTunes to PSP
Well, here we need some logic from your part.
Once you have music in iTunes library, you can convert it to MP3 using iTunes.
Once you have converted it to MP3, you have MP3 files on your PC, so you are ready to go!
All you want to do now is just sort them a little bit, if they are not sorted yet:
create some folders, such as "50Cent", "Tatoo", "Bon Jovi" (no need to name folders based on the artist name, just organize them for comfortable navigation).
And now copy those files onto your PSP (proceed from step 2 of the previous instruction).
Voila, you are one-more-skill PSP mage! :)
